·         The library will remain open from 8.00 A.M to 7.00 P.M on

all working days and on Saturday it is 8 A.M to 1 P.M.  Any changes in the schedule will be notified on library notice board from time to time.

·         Every person who enters the library should sign the "Gate     Register" in    token of his acceptance to adhere to the rules of the Library.

·         Readers should keep their personal belongings like Umbrella, bags, Briefcases, coats etc at the property counter and are allowed to carry note book or loose sheets inside the library if required.

·         To refer to any book in the library, readers must submit their Reference card at the Reference counter.  Entry should be done by the student in the Reference register. Reference books are not allowed to take out.

·         Reference books allowed to Xerox (except thesis and dissertation) with the permission of the Librarian or library staff. Students have to make an entry in the Xerox register.

·         Readers shall maintain perfect order & silence in the library. Engaging in conversation, discussion, group study, sleeping is strictly prohibited.

·         Not allowed to Food or Drinks in the Library.

·         Please turn off ringer on your cell phone and set it on vibrate mode. If they fail Rs.500/- will charge the fine.

·         All books / journals and other materials are to be used with care.

·         No tracing or mechanical reproduction of any kind of reading material shall be made without the permission of the Librarian.

·         Issue and Return counter will be open from 9 A.M to 4.30 P.M

·         Each member is issued a borrowed card. Only one book is issued at a time against one borrower’s ticket. The card should be renewed every academic year.

·         Slips are kept in the counter for noting the details of the book to be borrowed. Duly filled book slip should be put before 12.00 P.M and book can be collected after 12.00 P.M. Saturday it should be put before 10.00 A.M. Issue book will be given at 11.00 A.M

·         For B.Pharm / D.Pharm students one book is to be issued for the period of 3 day’s. After 3 day’s they can renew or return the book. If they fail per day Rs.1/ to be calculated as a fine up to 7 day’s after it will be doubled.

·         M.Pharm student can take one Reference book on the basis of overnight system. After 3.00 PM they can take the book and very next day before 9.30 AM they should return to the library. If they fail per day Rs.5/ to be calculated as a fine.

·         Students are not expected to sub lend their library cards to anyone and borrowing of books on some body else card is not permitted.

·         If a borrower has lost his/her card should inform to the Librarian. Duplicate card will be issued on payment of Rs.20/- each. At the end of academic year He/She should return the both cards to the library, if they fail Rs.50/- will charge the fine.

·         For teaching staff members can take maximum 6 books at a time for the period of one year.

·         These library rules may be altered or amended or new rules may be added to the existing ones by the concerned authority from time to time.
